A building change involving two banks has led to a new branch for one of the companies.
Old Missouri Bank yesterday opened a branch at 2423 W. Republic Road, the site of a former Simmons Bank, according to a news release.
“Our mission continues to revolve around convenient and meaningful community banking done better, and the opening of this new branch – in a growing, high-traffic part of Springfield – helps us deliver on that commitment,” said Mark Harrington, president and CEO of Old Missouri Bank, in the release.
Old Missouri Bank purchased the building in September 2021 for undisclosed terms, said Ryan Bowling, vice president and director of marketing.
Bowling said Williams Construction Co. performed the renovation work for the 2,310-square-foot branch. He declined to disclose renovation costs.
The West Republic Road branch is Old Missouri Bank's third in Springfield and eighth systemwide, according to the release.
Jessica Antczak was hired as branch manager, and commercial loan officers Michael Headlee and Jordan Holder also have offices in the building. The branch has 10 employees, said Bowling.
