Olathe Medical Center plans largest expansion in its history

The Kansas City Business Journal reports the Olathe Medical Center will announce $100 million expansion plans on Jan. 30.

The 200,000-square-foot project, the largest in the hospital’s history, will be presented in full during an Olathe Chamber of Commerce meeting. The business journal said the development plan should start in the spring.

The Olathe (Kan.) City Council already has approved $47.1 million in bonds for the medical center to add a cancer facility, obstetrics wing and a new entrance.
