Oil tumbles to 18-year low

West Texas Intermediate crude oil for May dropped to its lowest price since October 2001.

The cost fell as much as 9.3% to $18.03 per barrel on Friday morning.

The price plunge came as China reported it first drop in GDP since records began being kept in 1992.
