Oil falls near 11-year low

Oil fell toward $37 a barrel on Monday, trading within sight of an 11-year low.

According to Reuters, the movement was caused by excess supply that has more than halved prices since the downturn began in mid-2014.

Brent crude dropped as much as 71 cents to $37.18 a barrel. U.S. crude dropped 91 cents to $37.19.
