Official: AirAsia jet climbed too fast before crash

Posted online
AirAsia flight 8501 was reported Tuesday to have been flying upward at 6,000 feet per minute. That's fighter-jet speed that only a fighter jet should be reaching.

There are no implications that the crash was an act of terrorism and there were no voices on the recorder other than those of the pilots in the cockpit.

However, it has been released that AirAsia did not have a license to fly the route they were on the day of the crash. The airline has since been banned from flying all flights to Surabaya-Singapore.
