The corner conference room is the pride and joy of Spencer Fane’s office. Modern high-back chairs surround a sleek table with a view extending into the heavily treed neighborhoods beyond. There is little need for artificial light, as the natural sunlight reflects from the white walls, contrasted by a deep, maroon carpet.

Tone
Quiet and peaceful, it’s easy to wonder if you’re in a commercial law office or a spa when walking down the main hallway. Earth hues set the tone, with pops of dark carpeting overlaying stone-textured tile.

Illuminate
Windows fill the central conference room and cafeteria with a soft glow. A long bar table allows employees to enjoy lunch with a view. Staff and clients alike can meet and host events.

Warm Welcome
The lobby is rich in nature and modern, yet timeless, furniture. What’s the style? It could be a combination of modern and traditional and classic, all rolled into one.
It’s an oasis in the clouds of Farmers Park. Take a brief elevator ride to the third floor and Spencer Fane LLP turns a law office into a natural atrium. It’s all earth tones – cream and brown and deep maroon – with live plants hanging from the ceiling, growing in pots or situated on shelves. Nature is emphasized in art and incorporated throughout the office.
“The clients seem to really like the space and appreciate the openness and light,” says partner Richard Walters.
Taking shape on 3.5 acres just east of State Highway H/Glenstone Avenue in the area of Valley Water Mill Park are the Fulbright Heights Apartments – three 23,000-square-foot buildings with 24 units each for a total of 72 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
