Office NV

Posted online

2019 was the year of a new office for Springfield Business Journal. While we love our modern and open workspace in Chesterfield Village, we know we’re not the only game in town.

The SBJ editorial team went hunting again for the coolest office spaces in the Springfield area.

We found six in all, including a historic renovation, brand-spanking new buildings and infill jobs you just have to see.

We present to you the 2019 edition of Office NV. You know, those workplaces that make us think about how our own offices can look, feel and function better. We’ve got a complete rehabilitation of an old firehouse in central Springfield to new construction of a long-awaited tenant on vacant land in Battlefield – and much in between.

We hope you get inspiration and ideas. Heck, you may even want to reach out to the owners of the offices featured and ask for your own personal tour. At SBJ, we’d be glad to show you around, too. Part of the idea for this coverage is that the architecture and designs don’t just stay on the page but can influence other businesses in our community. We report to our offices every day, so let’s make them great.

We also wanted to showcase the creative camera work of SBJ Editorial Designer and Photographer Jessica Rosa. She captured the essence of the six offices profiled through the lens of her camera.

Here’s to the work that made Office NV, third edition.

Eric Olson, Springfield Business Journal Editorial Director
