Obama's 2015 State of the Union to-do list

CBS News published President Barack Obama's to-do list as presented in the State of the Union yesterday.

During the address, Obama declared, "Tonight, we turn the page," arguing in his sixth State of the Union address that the nation is now ready to move past the wars and recession of the last 15 years and should embrace his economic and foreign policy initiatives moving forward.

"The shadow of crisis has passed, and the State of the Union is strong," the president said.

Obama's address to the nation included plans to:

• veto anti-health care bills, anti-immigration bills, sanctions with Iran and anti-climate control bills;
• cure disease with the help of the human genome;
• put net neutrality rules into place; and
• balance civil liberties with surveillance methods.
