U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, yesterday indicated she would vote "no" on her party's latest attempt to repeal "Obamacare."
Collins' vote likely will doom the bill, which also is opposed by Republicans John McCain and Rand Paul, among others.
Collins cited the bill's cut to Medicaid funding.
"To take a program that has been law for more than 50 years, and make those kinds of fundamental structural changes ... and to do so without having in depth hearings to evaluate the impact on our most vulnerable citizens was unacceptable to me," she said.
