Facebook reported an increase in active Facebook users despite a setback caused by the Cambridge Analytica data breach scandal.
The social media network increased active monthly users to 2.2 billion, up 13 percent from first-quarter 2017.
Facebook's first-quarter revenue grew 49 percent to nearly $12 billion from $8 billion a year earlier.
