Nuehart Center – Bolivar

Posted online
Friesen Engineering is the civil engineer for Jay and Kathryn Kirksey’s Nuehart Center, a 4,700-square-foot retail and office building in Bolivar. LaRose & Schober Engineering is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer and Meridian Structural Works is the structural engineer. Creative Ink Architects LLC is the architect, and Kenny Reynolds Construction is the general contractor. Located at the intersection of West College Street and South Albany Avenue, the project features a vintage design that evokes memories of quaint pedestrian shopping centers still thriving in many south Kansas City neighborhoods. Achieving maximum land utilization and storm water detention were particularly challenging because of the confined urban site. Farmers State Bank is the lender for the project; estimated cost information was not disclosed. Nuehart Center is slated to be finished in April.
