Leawood-based NPC International Inc. filed for court approval to sell its Pizza Hut and Wendy's assets.
The company, which filed for bankruptcy earlier this summer, has 1,620 restaurant franchises in more than 25 states. The eateries have a combined 35,000 employees.
NPC is seeking a minimum purchase price of $400 million for its Wendy's franchises and $325 million for Pizza Hut.
