Pfizer stock may be coming out of a pandemic slump, now that it's in pole position for a coronavirus vaccine.
This week, its stock jumped 8% and hit a 52-week high of nearly $42, before settling down some.
The question remains whether a vaccine development ultimately would have a significant impact on the pharmaceutical giant’s bottom line. A key factor is how many other companies are standing at the finish line with vaccines of their own.
