A 52,000-square-foot addition to Northstar Battery’s facility in Partnership Industrial Center will provide space for additional manufacturing equipment for industrial lead-acid batteries. According to previous SBJ coverage, the estimated cost of the expansion project is $3 million. Morelock-Ross Builders is the general contractor. The architect is Marshall-Waters-Woody and Associates Inc. The engineers are Smith-Goth Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and JS Smith Consulting Engineers PC, structural. The project is scheduled for completion Dec. 1.
