Fortress Land Development LLC was established in 2018 with the vision of a pocket neighborhood featuring Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) homes. The modest idea grew into North Town Park—a nearly 50-acre development in Ozark with approximately 130 homesites, 80 of which are already developed. The subdivision is a blend of established builders showcasing diverse styles and a small selection of ICF homes.
North Town Park is the first subdivision for Fortress owners Steve and Tammy Johnson. “This is a passion-driven project for us, and we’ve had the flexibility to make decisions prioritizing future homeowners and the broader community,” said Steve Johnson. “Our focus has been on attracting top-quality builders who create homes with distinctive styles, fostering a unique and exceptional neighborhood.”
Builders were invited into the subdivision based on their craftsmanship and vision, which means every home is uniquely designed with no mass-produced styles.
Revoir Homes
One of those builders is Kenny Revoir of Revoir Homes who saw North Town Park as a unique opportunity to bring his ideas to life without being limited by a rigid committee process. “Steve and Tammy gave me full trust and creative freedom to design and build homes that reflect the very best of what I can do – thoughtful layouts, elevated finishes, and a true sense of comfort and luxury. Having that kind of trust allowed my vision to take shape without compromise, a rare thing in this industry.”
Revoir said there is intention behind every detail at North Town Park. “This kind of architectural variety gives the entire neighborhood a distinctive, upscale feel you won’t find anywhere else. When you add in the gated access, the thoughtfully planned amenities, and the overall attention to quality, North Town Park becomes more than just a place to live—it becomes a standout community that raises the bar for what homeowners can expect.”
Third Day Built
Another builder is Third Day Built, headed by Ozark residents Mike & Ashleigh Jones. “We were excited to hear that Ozark was getting a subdivision with amenities that most of the other subdivisions don’t have. We loved the north Ozark location too, as we knew it would appeal to buyers who work in Springfield.”
Jones is excited for the future of one of the only gated communities in Ozark, which will offer a park-like setting with swimming pool, pavilion, pickleball courts, and basketball court. “This is the type of development that Ozark needs to draw in more community members.”
Buznik Investments
Nikolay Buzikevich of Buznik Investments started building homes with a large company and decided to strike out on his own when he relocated to the Ozarks six years ago. “I fell in love with Ozark and decided I would only build where I live.”
Buzikevich said they don’t build the same home twice, which is a perfect fit for this development. “When I saw the development of North Town Park I was excited to get involved because there aren’t many new higher-end gated subdivisions in the area, and this presented the opportunity to showcase my home designs.”
Park-Like Feel
In addition to being a unique and thoughtfully designed gated community, North Town Park will have security systems at the front entrance and park benches and sidewalks throughout the neighborhood creating a walkable, welcoming environment. “It’s not just a place to live—it’s a place to connect, unwind, and enjoy life,” said Tammy Johnson.
