Israeli-based ICLGroup Ltd. disclosed in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that a planned $500 million battery plant in north St. Louis is officially dead.
The decision comes after the Department of Energy pulled a $197 million federal grant for the project in October.
ICLGroup is ceasing operations in North America, according to the SEC filing.
