Norfolk Southern CEO Alan Shaw has been fired by the railroad's board over a relationship with an employee.
The board cited "a consensual relationship with the company’s chief legal officer," who also was ousted.
The board has selected Chief Financial Officer Mark George as the company's new CEO.
