Nordstrom co-president dies at 58

Nordstrom Inc. co-President Blake Nordstrom died Wednesday. He was 58.

The great-grandson of the company’s founder, Nordstrom was diagnosed with cancer early last month.

His brothers Pete and Erik Nordstrom will continue to lead the department store operator as co-presidents.

"My heart goes out to the Nordstrom family and everyone at the company during this difficult time. Everyone who worked with Blake knew of his passion and deep commitment to employees, customers and the communities we serve," Nordstrom Chairman Brad Smith said in a statement.
