Nordstrom announced it would not relocate a store in the Kansas City area as previously planned.
The retailer, which had intended to move to Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, instead will remain in its Overland Park, Kansas, location.
"Taubman and Macerich, the owners of Country Club Plaza, and Nordstrom have mutually agreed not to move forward with the new Nordstrom store slated for the district," a Plaza spokesperson said. "Taubman is actively reviewing alternative plans for the location and looks forward to making an announcement in the near future."
