Microsoft and OpenAI jointly announced the signing of a nonbinding deal under which OpenAI can restructure.
OpenAI would become a for-profit company through the restructuring, according to Reuters.
Microsoft invested $1 billion in 2019 and $10 billion in 2023 in OpenAI.
