Candidates are nominated by readers and selected by an independent panel of judges. Winners will be announced March 27 and recognized at a May 18 event.
To qualify, nominees must live or work within a 50-mile radius of Springfield and cannot turn 40 before the May ceremony. Previous 40 Under 40 honorees are not eligible, and 2005 Most Influential Women honorees may not be nominated.
