Nominations accepted for 2008 Springfieldian award

Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2008 Springfieldian award through the end of November.

The honoree will be announced at the chamber’s annual meeting on Jan. 25.

The award, now in its 51st year, recognizes outstanding, dedicated service to the community. The 2007 honoree was Kenneth E. Meyer, founder and president of Meyer Communications.

Nominations will be accepted from chamber members and the general public. Current chamber board members are ineligible.

To submit a nomination, fill out the form at the chamber Web site, www.springfieldchamber.com, or write a one-page letter listing the nominee’s background and qualifications and send it to the chamber at PO Box 1687, Springfield, MO, 65801.[[In-content Ad]]
