Springfield-based marketing communications agency Noble Communications Co. announced today the promotion of Keith Acuff from chief operating officer to CEO.
Acuff will assume the role previously held by founder and chairman of the board Bob Noble, according to a news release.
Noble said in the release that promoting Acuff was one step in the process toward redefining the communications business, which already is changing daily.
"Noble clients build their brands by leveraging our agency business," Noble said. "Now, I’m focused on building our next-generation consumer insights and publishing businesses.
"Having Keith in place as CEO for Noble allows me to concentrate on building these new and exciting enterprises."
The company is the driving force behind The Food Channel, a recipe and food advice site, and CultureWaves, a site that attempts to discover and examine human behavior.
With Noble taking the reins on the company's consumer insight ventures, Acuff will be left to support the agency's Springfield and Chicago offices and continue to grow their clients' businesses, the release said.
"To accomplish that goal, we must lead the new communications paradigm, create more touch points for reaching clients’ customers, go deeper in our knowledge, leverage the myriad of new communications tools that are being created almost daily and tell the most engaging brand stories possible," Acuff said in the release.
Acuff has been with the company for 17 years, the release said.[[In-content Ad]]
