No expansion planned at Ranger Boats

The Baxter Bulletin of Mountain Home, Ark., reports Ranger Boats in nearby Flippin will not undergo a plant expansion after being bought out by Bass Pro Group.

Bass Pro is looking to close on the purchase of Fishing Holdings LLC manufacturers Ranger, along with the Stratos and Triton boat brands.

"Last week, we announced that Bass Pro Group was buying our company, and we're really excited about that, to be honest. It's a strategic fit here, we believe," Ranger Boats President and CEO Randy Hopper told the Bulletin.
