A Nixa woman was sentenced Monday to five years in prison for stealing from her employer.
Jamey McGuire, 42, pleaded guilty to stealing over $59,000 from Jack Webster, who runs a commercial real estate business in the Queen City.
Asked by the judge what she spent the money on, McGuire replied, "Stupid stuff."
The former office manager for Webster, McGuire forged checks in the scheme.
