The Nixa Public Schools board voted on Monday to fire junior high assistant principal Colby Fronterhouse.
Fronterhouse, 41, of Springfield, is facing federal charges of producing child pornography, according to the Springfield News-Leader.
Fronterhouse, assistant principal for nearly 12 years, was placed on administrative leave late last month after the charges surfaced.
