Nissan Motor Co. named its next CEO: Makoto Uchida, the head of the company's China business.
Uchida succeeds Hiroto Saikawa, who resigned in September and was replaced on an interim basis by Yasuhiro Yamauchi.
The company also named Ashwani Gupta, currently chief operating officer of alliance member Mitsubishi Motors Corp., as its next COO.
