Nintendo Co. and Comcast Corp. are leveraging their partnership to open themed venues at three of the media company’s four Universal Studios theme parks.
Venues featuring Mario and other video game characters of Nintendo will open in the coming years in Orlando, Florida, Los Angeles and Osaka, Japan. The venues will include rides, restaurants and other types of entertainment.
Thanks in part to its Harry Potter-themed venues, Comcast’s theme-park revenue grew 60 percent to $1.4 billion in the third quarter.
