Just ahead of the Fourth of July, Nike is pulling a new shoe designed with an 18thcentury American flag logo on the heel.
"Nike has chosen not to release the Air Max 1 Quick Strike Fourth of July as it featured an old version of the American flag," Nike said in a statement to CNN Business.
Citing the Wall Street Journal, the report said Nike officials made the decision after hearing complaints from former NFL star Colin Kaepernick that the so-called Betsy Ross flag image was potentially offensive.

Seems like Colin Kaepernick is the expert on anything that is offensive now and can control billion dollar corporations just by his opinion. I love Nike shoes but I will never buy another pair of their shoes or branding.
