Posted online
The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry's 38th annual Legislative Action Seminar will feature former Missouri State University President Michael Nietzel as a keynote speaker.

The event will be held Nov. 19 at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis.

Nietzel resigned as MSU president late last year and is now the education advisor to Gov. Jay Nixon.

Nietzel will bring a perspective on the future of Missouri's educational policies, according to the event Web site.

The annual seminar provides a forum for legislators, business leaders and stakeholders to discussion statewide issues that will lead to a plan for action in the upcoming legislative session, according to the site.

The other keynote speaker will be Bernadette Budde, with the Business Industry Political Action Committee, who will speak on election cycles and federal congressional issues.[[In-content Ad]]
