NFL draft returning to Chicago in 2016

The NFL has once again chosen Chicago as the site of its spring draft.

The professional football draft will be conducted April 28-30 next year.

"They've earned it. The success we had last year set a new bar for the draft; it set a new opportunity for fans to interact with the NFL. It had a tremendous impact on this community," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the Windy City this year played host for the first time in over 50 years.
