Two southwest Missouri real estate agents are slated to serve as the next two treasurers of the Missouri Realtors board.
Brian R. Jared, who works at Murney Associates, Realtors in Springfield, and Brent Sager of Gerken & Associates Inc. in Branson are scheduled to serve as board treasurer in 2024 and 2025, respectively, according to a news release.
Jared, who previously was selected for the role, this year is serving as treasurer-elect for the statewide association's board. In January, he's succeeding current board Treasurer Bobbi Howe, a Kansas City-area real estate agent who is becoming president-elect.
Sager was appointed 2025 treasurer at the board's Sept. 21 meeting, according to the release.
"I look forward to working with the membership, leadership team and staff to continue guiding our organization through the years ahead," Sager said in the release.
A safe room and classroom addition at Willard Central Elementary School will be used by the music, arts and athletic programs for a district that had 4,536 students last year, according to Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education figures, but school officials say enrollment is projected to grow.
