Conservative network Newsmax has reached a $67 million settlement with Denver-based Dominion Voting Systems.
Dominion has accused Newsmax of allegedly defaming the voting machine manufacturer related to claims of election fraud in President Donald Trump’s 2020 loss.
“Newsmax believed it was critically important for the American people to hear both sides of the election disputes that arose in 2020,” Newsmax officials said in a statement. “We stand by our coverage as fair, balanced and conducted within professional standards of journalism.”
