Architecture
Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. won two awards at Canstruction U hosted by Drury University’s Hammons School of Architecture and American Institute of Architects’ Springfield chapter. The firm won in the Structural Ingenuity and Juror’s Favorite categories for the design of a Route 66 sign and a highway made entirely of cans.

Esterly Schneider & Associates Inc. added Simpson Batista as an architectural intern. He has a bachelor’s in architecture from The Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico.

Banking & Finance
BRS CPAs & Advisors added Kati Jines as staff accountant and Kellye Stead as payroll specialist/accountant. With four years of experience in accounting, Jines will assist with tax compliance and accounting services. Stead brings 20 years of experience in the payroll industry to assist in payroll compliance and accounting services.

Education
Evangel University
was named to the 2018-19 Colleges of Distinction list with recognition of the business and education departments. Schools are selected based on such qualities as accreditation, breadth of programs and a track record for success, according to CollegesOfDistinction.com.

Drury University honored three staff members as 2018 Faculty Award winners: Ioana Popescu, associate professor of biology, for teaching; Keith Hedges, associate professor of architecture, for scholarship; and Rachael Herrington, assistant professor of clinical psychology, for liberal learning.

U.S. Air Force 2nd Lt. Jasmin Luck received the Air Force Achievement Award in a ceremony at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary of Evangel University. She was recognized for service during an Air Force internship in Guam. Luck is an Air Force chaplain candidate and studying for a master’s in divinity at AGTS.

Health Care
Burrell Behavioral Health named Greg DeLong, Clay Goddard, Brooke O’Reilly and Nick Sanders to its board of directors for fiscal 2018-19. DeLong is senior vice president and family wealth adviser at Morgan Stanley & Co. LCC in Branson; Goddard is the director of health at the Springfield-Greene County Health Department; O’Reilly serves on the Mercy Kids Board of Directors and was founding board president for Isabel’s House; and Sanders is the owner of Avashare Integration. Burrell board members serve three-year terms for a maximum of two terms.

Law
Five Kutak Rock LLP attorneys in Springfield were named to the 25th edition of The Best Lawyers in America: Randell Wallace, James Meadows, Dan Nelson, Joseph Reid and Michael Textor. Best Lawyers also recognized Wallace as 2019 Lawyer of the Year in real estate law, based on overall peer feedback in a specific practice area and metropolitan region.

Gov. Mike Parson appointed Jessica Kruse, of Nixa, as associate circuit judge for Christian County to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Larry Luna. Kruse, a former partner at Ozarks Elder Law LLC, has practiced law since 2006.

Cheryl Hom
, an attorney with Easter Law Firm LLC, was elected to the Champion Athletes of the Ozarks Board of Directors to assist in serving children and adults with disabilities.

Real Estate
Jill Cooper
was promoted to president and chief operating officer of Entrust Property Solutions LLC. A co-owner and founding member of the company, she has an MBA from Missouri State University and worked in retail sales and property management.
