Leslie Landwehr joined Elliott, Robinson & Co. LLP as a paraprofessional. With 15 years of experience, Landwehr handles preparation of payroll and payroll taxes, sales and use taxes, monthly accounting and financial statements. She holds a bachelor’s in accounting from Missouri State University.

Architecture
Esterly, Schneider and Associates Inc. partner Melissa Higbie received her architecture license to practice in Louisiana. She has 20 years of design industry experience.

Kate Medin joined Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. as an intern architect. Medin holds a bachelor’s in environmental design from the University of Missouri and a master’s in architecture from the University of Kansas.

Banking and Finance
Branson Bank promoted Tim Scott to senior vice president of commercial lending. A nine-year bank employee, Scott will continue to manage the bank’s Falls Parkway branch. He holds a bachelor’s in operations management from California Polytechnic State University and an MBA from the University of Missouri.

Metropolitan National Bank promoted retail supervisors Stephanie Forbes, Khacy Hackman and Melissa Messer to assistant banking center managers. Forbes, at the bank’s Marshfield branch, has six years of experience with Metropolitan. Working out of the Hollister branch, Forbes has 14 years of experience with the company. Messer has been with Metropolitan since 2007 and works in Lamar.

Insurance
Jayne Edley-Thompson joined Ollis & Co. as plan marketing and carrier relationship manager. With 23 years of insurance industry experience, Edley-Thompson works with clients to reduce risks and control long-term expenses.

Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance hired Chad Smith as a commercial insurance agent. He has 17 years of insurance industry experience and holds a bachelor’s from MSU.

Law
The National Center for State Court’s Board of Directors selected Judge Gary Lynch of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, to serve a three-year term. Lynch is immediate past president of the Council of Chief Judges of the State Courts of Appeal and was appointed to the Missouri Court of Appeals in 2006. He holds a bachelor’s in mathematics and elementary education from SBU and received his law degree from the University of Missouri.

Nonprofit
Lost & Found Grief Center installed four members to its board of directors: John Doran of Doran Homes, Darren Pearce of Pinnacle Sign Group, and community volunteers Kathy Pozniak and Shannon Nagy. Lost & Found also named its fiscal 2015 officers: Chairman Tom Singleton, a retired executive; Vice Chairman Justin French of Barker Phillips Jackson Inc.; Secretary Gloria Roling of Southern Missouri Bank of Marshfield; and Treasurer Dean Young of Heim Young & Associates Inc.

Technology
