Banking Ozark Bank promoted Kyle Purdome to vice president and commercial loan officer. Purdome has been employed with the bank since 2011, working as its credit analyst and loan review officer, and has 15 years of banking experience.
Old Missouri Bank promoted Marcie Penka to vice president of branch administration and Sheila Wyant to vice president of deposit operations. Both were previously assistants to those roles. Penka, who has 18 years of banking experience, manages operations at the National Avenue and Sunshine Street branches. With 30 years of banking experience, Wyant handles bookkeeping, customer service and electronic banking support at the operations center.

Construction Morelock-Ross Builders Inc. named David Geisler as general counsel and Bob Feeney as director of real estate. Geisler has 11 years of legal experience and received his law degree from University of Missouri. Feeney, who holds a bachelor’s in hospitality management from MSU, directs commercial and residential development.
Government The Battlefield Fire Protection District was awarded a Life Safety Achievement Award by the National Association of State Fire Marshals Fire Research and Education Foundation and Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Co. Battlefield Fire Protection was one of 117 fire departments across the country to receive the award for recording zero fire deaths in 2012 or reducing fire deaths by at least 10 percent during the year.
Hospitality Jeffery VanCamp joined Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa & Convention Center in Branson as assistant general manager of food and beverage. He is responsible for managing food and beverage operations, including banquets, receptions and meetings. VanCamp has 30 years of related experience and worked most recently as senior director of catering for Chartwells on MSU’s campus.
Law Gary Powell, a partner for Husch Blackwell LLP in Springfield, was named a 2014 Lawyer of the Year in the area of trusts and estates law by peer-review publication Best Lawyers.
