Banking
Guaranty Bank promoted Steven Hoaglin to an information technology business analyst and hired Courtney Carter as a residential lender. Hoaglin has a decade of banking experience, starting at Guaranty Bank as a part-time teller and most recently serving as a marketing research and sales support analyst. He holds a bachelor’s in agriculture business and an MBA with certificates in management and leadership from Missouri State University. Carter is marking a career change after working in health care as a cardiac sonographer for Mercy. She holds a bachelor’s in psychology from MSU.

Health Care
Missouri Dental Association installed Springfield general dentist Dr. Tom Stone as president and honored Dr. Ashley Meyer with its Outstanding New Dental Leader Award. Stone has 30 years of industry experience, including membership in the American Dental Association and the Greater Springfield Dental Society, for which he is a past president. He previously served MDA as a trustee to the board, committee chair, delegate and speaker. 

Meyer, owner of Dental 32, was recognized for leadership, ethical conduct and volunteer activities during a career with less than 10 years in practice. She is the immediate past president of the Greater Springfield Dental Society and chairs the Smiles from the Heart fundraiser that benefits local dental charities. Meyer is a second-generation dentist, and her father, Dr. Thomas Meyer, also received MDA’s Outstanding New Dental Leader Award, in 1994.

Citizens Memorial Hospital was one of two Missouri health care organizations recognized with the 2021 Aim for Excellence Award by the Missouri Hospital Association. In making progress toward the “triple aim” of better health, improved care and lower cost, CMH was recognized for the monoclonal antibody infusion program central to its COVID-19 strategy to reduce hospitalizations and improve patient outcomes.

Hospitality
O’Reilly Hospitality Management LLC promoted Licia Keller to director of quality and internal audit and hired Brent Parker as task force general manager. Keller is responsible for the standard operating procedures and training across all hotel, restaurant, retail and entertainment properties within the OHM portfolio. She’s served as a regional director of operations and as a GM for several OHM properties, and previously was lodge manager/operations director for the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks. Parker is responsible for operations at multiple hotel properties, including guest services, administration and marketing. He has experience as GM of the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in Joplin and the University Plaza Hotel and Holiday Inn Express downtown. 

Human Resources
Springfield Sign hired Dan Dusenberry as human resources manager and Kim Johnson as recruiting manager. Dusenberry has worked in HR for 10 years – previously with One Call Medical Inc. and Brown Derby Stores Inc. – and has experience in employee relations, workforce planning, and diversity and inclusion policies. Johnson has 15 years of HR and recruiting experience.

Promotional Products
EDC, a DBA of Fulfillment Services LLC, hired Aaron Wahlquist as director of marketing and business development. He has 29 years of sales and marketing experience and 10 years as communications director for the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield. Wahlquist holds a bachelor’s in psychology from MSU and a master’s in communications from University of Tennessee.
