With a bachelor’s in accounting from Northwest Missouri State University, Allen has 20 years of accounting experience and specializes in individual taxation. Clemens, who has handled accounting, tax, and internal audit services at KPM since 1997, earned a bachelor’s in accounting from Missouri State University. Thurman, who holds bachelors’ in business administration and accounting from Drury University, has worked for KPM since 2002 and specializes in retail, franchise, manufacturing and employee benefit plan audits.
Arts Moxie Cinema received a $2,500 grant from the Missouri Humanities Council to extend its Humanities and Arts Film Series into spring 2015. The series, which started in April 2013, features films being viewed by Drury University faculty.

Springfield First Community Bank named Jim Anderson and Tim O’Reilly to its board of directors. Anderson, the former president of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, is CoxHealth’s vice president of marketing and public affairs. O’Reilly is a partner in the O’Reilly, Jensen & Preston LLC law firm and CEO of O’Reilly Hospitality Management LLC.

Education MSU’s Board of Governors selected the Bill R. Foster family to receive the school’s Bronze Bear Award during a December ceremony at JQH Arena. Recognizing the family’s donations and service to the MSU Foundation, the honor includes a framed resolution and a 45-pound, 18-inch Bronze Bear mounted on a base.
The MSU board appointed officers Stephen Hoven of SSM Health Care in St. Louis, chairman; Peter Hofherr of St. James Winery, vice chairman; Steve Foucart of MSU, treasurer; and John McAlear, retired from MSU, secretary.
Springfield Public Schools named three individuals to its 2014 Hall of Fame: Shawn Askinosie of Askinosie Chocolate; John Reps of Cornell University; and Scott Siman of RPM Entertainment. Inductees were selected for their community involvement, industry accolades and advocating for public education.

Health Care Ozarks Community Hospital hired Dr. Mosbah Kreimid, a board-certified pulmonologist, to practice at the OCH Evergreen Clinic and at the OCH Lawrence County Clinic. Kreimid, who received his doctorate from Alfateh University in Tripoli, Libya, has 25 years of medical experience.

Tourism Jennifer Holt joined the Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau as finance and administration assistant. Holt assists on accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll and benefits administration, and also is responsible for general office administrative duties.
