Accounting
Forvis Mazars LLP’s southern Missouri practice unit promoted Felecia Drumright, Rikki Holmes, Callie Mitchell, David Schoenhoff, Kim Swain, Hailey Turner and Brock Wiberg to director. Drumright, who provides audit, accounting and consulting services, has a bachelor’s in accounting from College of the Ozarks. A member of the firm’s health care practice, Holmes has a bachelor’s in accounting from Missouri State University. Mitchell, who is a member of the firm’s commercial products practice, has a bachelor’s in accounting and business administration from William Jewel College. A provider of tax, accounting and consulting services, Schoenhoff has bachelor’s in accounting and business administration and a master’s in accounting from the University of Missouri. A grants management consultant, Swain has a bachelor’s in organizational management from John Brown University. Turner, who provides audit and consulting services, has a bachelor’s in accounting from Southwest Baptist University. A graduate of MSU with bachelor’s and master’s in accounting, Wiberg is a member of the firm’s southern Missouri tax team and its financial services practice.
Education
Five individuals and two organizations were honored during Celebrate SPS, an event hosted by Foundation for Springfield Public Schools. The individual honors went to SPS Teacher of the Year Danielle O’Neal of Sherwood Elementary; Rookie of the Year Kai Isaia of Glendale High School; Linda Luke Librarian of the Year David Stockton of McBride Elementary; Counselor of the Year Crystal Elliott of Pittman Elementary; and Turner Reading Teacher of the Year Manden Matz of Pittman Elementary. Liberty Games received Corporate Partner of the Year honors, and the Advocate for Education award went to Queen City Free Runners.
Health Care
Citizens Memorial Hospital hired Dr. Jason Bailey to join the medical staff at CMH Pulmonology Clinic in Bolivar. Bailey, who is board certified in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, earned his medical degree from Des Moines University and completed an internal medicine internship, residency and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Law
The Springfield Police Department promoted 11 sworn police officers to the roles of lieutenant and sergeant. Promoted to lieutenant were Sgts. Dan Carlson, Jason Copley, Michael Ramsey and Eric Schroeder. Achieving the rank of sergeant were Cpl. Jon Conklin, officer Kevin Grundy and Cpls. Steve Hartman, Oliver Hoedel, David Kenyon, Joshua McMullin and Keith Wright.
