The Whitlock Co. promoted Jennifer Cochran to manager and hired Michael Wirth as a senior tax accountant and Olivia Tinkler as a staff accountant. Cochran, previously a supervisor, has worked with the company for 20 years. Wirth has nine years of experience in public accounting and holds an accounting degree from Missouri State University. Tinkler has a bachelor’s in accounting and management from Drury University.

BKD LLP promoted Leslie Finnerty and Amy Shelton to senior consultants. Finnerty has 25 years of insurance experience in medical billing, and Shelton’s experience includes claims billing and payment posting.

Advertising
Revel Advertising hired Megan Buchbinder as marketing manager. With five years of marketing experience, Buchbinder holds bachelor’s degrees in marketing and health care management from Appalachian State University.

ADsmith Marketing and Advertising added Kristy Taylor as account supervisor. Taylor has 20 years of marketing experience and a bachelor’s in marketing and advertising from Missouri State University.

Banking and Finance
Regions Financial Corp. expanded the role of Ron Hawley, central and southern Missouri market president, to include managing the bank’s newly formed west business banking division with oversight of the Iowa and Missouri community markets. Hawley has 33 years of banking experience.

Education
The Drury University College of Continuing Professional Studies’ paralegal program ranked second in the Open Education Database’s listing of top online paralegal programs nationwide. The database recognizes U.S. colleges that offer online learning for undergraduate degree programs.

The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools hired Ashley Twibell as development director. Twibell, whose duties include managing the foundation’s Back to School grant campaign, worked most recently as development officer for Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services of Missouri.

Engineering
Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins Inc. hired Michelle Blush, Chase Bretches and Keith Hammerschmidt as project engineers. Blush, Bretches and Hammerschmidt hold bachelor’s degrees in architectural engineering from Kansas State University.

Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins recognized project engineer Todd Wicker as an accredited professional through the U.S. Green Building Council.

Health Care
Lakeland Behavioral Health hired Kimberly Ramacciotti as a care support specialist. Ramacciotti, who has a bachelor’s in communication and a master’s in counseling from MSU, previously worked as director of admissions at the Forest Institute’s School of Professional Psychology.

Law
Christian County hired Agnes Prevendarcsik as assistant prosecuting attorney. She has worked as an assistant public defender for seven years and holds a law degree from Utrecht University in The Netherlands and a master’s in law from Washington University.

Manufacturing
Jack White joined Tuthill Vacuum & Blower Systems as applications engineer. White has 13 years of applications engineering experience and holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Media
DL Media was honored with the 2015 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics in the midsize business category.
