Tammy Gonzalez was promoted to banking center manager at Empire Bank’s Campbell Avenue branch. Her 15 years of banking experience at Empire Bank includes serving as banking center manager for the James River and Battlefield branches.

Alexandra Lilly was hired as executive assistant at Friga Construction. She supports the general contractor by reading, researching and routing correspondence, drafting letters and documents, and initiating telecommunications.

Education
John Clayton, the director of research and strategic planning at Ozarks Technical Community College, was named 2014 chairman of the Mid-America Association for Institutional Research. Clayton, who has worked for OTC five years, serves as MidAIR’s liaison to the national Association of Institutional Research and represents the higher education regional body at all meetings.

Health Care
Five physicians joined the Ferrell-Duncan Clinic Branson, a division of Cox Medical Center Branson. Drs. Robert Vorhies, Jacob Smith, Steven Rowe, Arthur Hawes and Jerry Givens practice in the areas of urology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, cardiology, otolaryngology and vascular surgery.

Adam Pihana was named a shareholder in Hall, Ansley, Rodgers & Sweeney PC. With experience in medical negligence, personal injury, employment law and workers’ compensation, Pihana holds a bachelor’s from University of Central Florida and a law degree from University of Missouri.
