Banking and Finance
Anthony Na’ayem of Eagle Eye Business Solutions LLC was certified by the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association as a Leading Professional in Ethics and Compliance and by the International Association of Risk and Compliance Professionals as a Risk and Compliance Management Professional. Na’ayem is the co-founder, managing member and senior consultant for Eagle Eye Business Solutions.

Ron and Seth Penney, private wealth advisers with Ameriprise Financial in Springfield, were each named to the list of “America’s Top 1,200 Advisors: State-by-State” published by Barron’s Magazine. Selected out of 4,000 advisers, the list is based on assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory records and quality of practice.

Springfield First Community Bank hired Davis Neal as vice president and mortgage loan originator. Neal, who worked most recently for Liberty Bank, has six years of mortgage lending experience. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration and global studies and an MBA from Drury University.

Government
The Greene County Commission appointed Jeff Scott as the county’s budget officer. Scott, who holds a bachelor’s from Drury University, previously served as senior deputy auditor for two years at the Greene County auditor’s office, and he has 20 years of banking, examination and auditing experience.

The Missouri Department of Economic Development approved $500,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds to assist Reeds Spring upgrade its water distribution system. The DED also awarded $100,000 in CDBG funds to help Taney County construct 24 apartments for people with developmental disabilities. The DED initiative provides grants and loans to cities with a population under 50,000 and counties under 200,000 to assist in a range of public works and economic development projects.

Health Care
Faith Community Health received a $450,000 grant from the Missouri Foundation for Health to serve uninsured and underinsured residents of Taney and Stone counties. Faith Community is using the funds secured by the Skaggs Foundation to offer dental services five days a week at its clinic.

Jordan Valley Community Health Center added Drs. Dawn Steiner and Erin Toth to its medical staff. Steiner, who received a medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Toth, who holds a medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, works in pediatrics.

Manufacturing
Kim Crouse was promoted by National Enzyme Co. in Forsyth to chief financial officer. Crouse, who holds a bachelor’s in business administration and an MBA from Missouri State University, previously served as director of finance for 11 years.

Nonprofit
Court Appointed Special Advocates of Southwest Missouri’s Board of Directors selected Beth Atchison as its executive director. Atchison had served the organization as development director for two years. She holds a bachelor’s in marketing management from MSU and a master’s in church and ministry from Baptist Bible College.

The Springfield Area Chamber of commerce named Justin Coyan manager of business development. Coyan, who holds a bachelor’s in business management from MSU and an MBA from Webster University, is responsible for marketing the chamber’s 10-county region, attracting projects and investments and maintaining the Springfield Regional Economic Partnership.
 
Politics
The Greene County Democratic Party selected C. Skyler Johnston as the group’s executive director. Johnston holds a bachelor’s in history from the University of Missouri and has worked on electoral campaigns in seven states over the past decade.
