Central Bank of the Ozarks promoted Joselyn Baldner to executive vice president/chief retail officer; Kayla Jones to mortgage loan officer; Jill San Paolo to assistant vice president and fraud officer; Melanie Setser to assistant vice president/relationship manager; Michael Montana to vice president/business banking manager; and Amy Unser to vice president/loan review manager.

The Commerce Trust Co. hired Kristy Chastain as vice president and private banking manager. She assists high net worth clients in wealth structuring, investment management, banking and customized credit needs.

Northwestern Mutual added Conner Trotter as a financial representative. He provides guidance and innovative solutions to help clients meet goals.

Mandy Anthes, commercial loan officer at The Bank of Missouri, graduated from the Paul W. Barret Jr. Graduate School of Banking in Memphis, Tenn. She was among 75 students who completed the three-year curriculum in the 2016 class.

Construction
Miller Engineering employees Melissa Payne, Jason Williams and Andy Coleman earned certification as construction document technologists from the Construction Specifications Institute.

Education
Sue Head, vice president for cultural affairs and dean of character education at College of the Ozarks, was selected among 23 senior administrators for the 2016-17 Executive Leadership Academy by the Council of Independent Colleges. She will participate in two seminars in Washington, D.C., and engage in readings, webinars and a mentoring program.

Drury University topped CollegeStats.org’s list of universities with the “most positive words per tweet.” Tweets about Drury had 1.89 positive words per tweet, including great, like, love, work, recommend and happy.

Drury hired Ed Beach as assistant athletic director-media relations/marketing. He oversees all sports information, media relations and athletics marketing duties.

Evangel University awarded Fred Fortunato the school’s highest honor for faculty, the E.M. & Estella Clark Award for Excellence in Teaching, Scholarship and Service. Since 2006, he’s taught organic chemistry, thermodynamics and engineering physics classes at Evangel and previously worked 25 years in chemical engineering for companies such as Exxon, BFGoodrich and PPG.
