Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective hired Chloe Boggs, Kaile Lindsay and Tara Wallis as interior designers in the hospitality division; Dustin Schridde as a project engineer; and Morgan Cunnyng-
ham
as an associate architect. Boggs, Lindsay and Wallis each hold bachelor’s degrees in interior design from Missouri State University, while Schridde holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering technology from MSU and Cunnyngham holds a bachelor’s in architectural studies from University of Missouri-Columbia.

Banking & Finance
Arvest Bank promoted Hunter Dasal to merchant relationship adviser. He has five years of industry experience, most recently as a relationship banker, and has earned the universal banker certificate from the American Bankers Association.

Old Missouri Bank Marketing Director Ryan Bowling was among 33 professionals to complete the Missouri Bankers Association’s 12-month leadership program. Courses focused on emerging bank issues, government relations, ethics, leadership styles, workplace culture and communications. Bowling, who has worked nearly 18 years in marketing and communications, and eight years in banking, joined OMB in early 2022.

Teri Harris was promoted to first vice president and chief financial officer at Guaranty Bank. She’s worked at the bank since 1997 in roles from teller to branch manager, and more recently internal auditor and controller. Harris holds a bachelor’s in accounting from MSU and a master’s in finance from Webster University.

 Education
Southwest Baptist University added Daniel DeWitt as senior fellow and executive director of the Center for Worldview Analysis and Cultural Engagement. He’ll also serve as a professor of worldview and culture for the 2022-23 academic year. He previously was a professor of apologetics and theology at Cedarville University in Ohio, where he established and led a center for apologetics, and he also worked as dean of Boyce College at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, as well as lead pastor for the Campus Church in Louisville. DeWitt holds a bachelor’s in biblical studies from Lexington Baptist College, as well as a master’s of divinity and a doctorate in educational leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Jennifer Joslin of Drury University received the 2022 Virginia N. Gordon Award for Excellence in the Field of Advising, a lifetime achievement honor from global advising association Nacada. Joslin, an associate vice president of academic affairs and director of the Robert and Mary Cox Compass Center, was recognized for her work in three areas: research/publications/presentations, leadership in the advising field and commitment/advocacy to advising. She has 27 years of experience in the field of advising and joined Drury in 2019 after stints at University of Oregon, Kansas State University and University of Iowa.

Health Care
Citizens Memorial Hospital added licensed clinical psychologist Jennifer Deines to the medical staff at Bolivar’s Southside Medical Center-Behavioral Health and the Pleasant Hope Family Medical Center. She previously worked as a staff psychologist at Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas in Iola, Kansas, and Compass Health Network in Warrensburg. Deines holds bachelor’s degrees in communication studies and business administration from the University of Montana-Missoula, as well as a master’s and doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
