Citizens Healthcare in Bolivar hired Dr. Anne E. Winkler, a rheumatologist, and Dr. Kristina S. Kauffman, a family practice/obstetrician. Winkler, who also holds a Ph.D., attended medical school and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Winkler is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. She worked as a physician investigator at St. John’s Medical Research Institute prior to joining CMH.

Kauffman completed medical school at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She finished her family practice residency and surgical obstetric certification through the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program in Fort Wayne, Ind., where she also was chief resident.

CPA firm Davis, Lynn & Moots PC promoted Debbie Underwood and Rebecca Friedrich to senior accountants after each passed the certified public accounting exam.

St. John’s Clinic-Hospitalists hired Dr. Tobey K. Cronnell. She earned her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency training with Doctors Hospital of Stark County in Massillon, Ohio, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The Patient Advocate LLC hired Grace Bryson as a case manager. She is an advocate for patients and providers, and she has 18 years of experience in health insurance.

Jockey Person to Person, the direct-sales division of Jockey International Inc., promoted Teri Leigh Baird, of Nixa, to team leader.

She began with the company in June as an independent consultant and was promoted for having met sales goals and exhibited leadership skills.

The Pampered Chef recognized Sheila McGowne for outstanding achievement as a new consultant with the company. McGowne was ranked among the company’s Top 50 show-holders nationwide in May, June and July.

Drury University hired Paige Buschling as a counselor providing short-term counseling with students to help them identify and understand personal issues that affect quality of life, education or work performance. Buschling holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling from Missouri State University. She previously worked as a counselor at Ozarks Technical Community College.

Buschling is a provisionally licensed professional counselor in the state of Missouri and a board-eligible national certified counselor.

She also is an inpatient care coordinator for the adult psychiatric unit at St. John’s Regional Hospital.

Paula Moore, vice president of mortgage lending with BancorpSouth, has relocated to serve customers at the bank’s corporate mortgage center at the corner of Campbell Avenue and Walnut Lawn Street.

Moore has more than 20 years of experience in banking.

Jennifer Wilson, managing member of Jennifer Wilson Architect LLC, passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Professional Accreditation exam.

Laura Sardo, records specialist and former social science department secretary for Evangel University, was named to the International Social Science Review’s Pi Gamma Mu Roll of Distinction.

The honor recognizes the activity and effectiveness of individual chapters of Pi Gamma Mu, an international honor society in social sciences.

Melissa J. Carr, vice president and director of human resources at Guaranty Bank, graduated from the Human Resource Management School offered by the University of Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Banking.

Carr has been with the bank for one year and has more than nine years of human resources-related banking experience.

Marianne Stanley of Zen 3 Bodywork Studio in Springfield received her certification in manual lymph drainage through the Scherer Institute of Natural Healing. Stanley is an oncology massage therapist and works with cancer clients and their caregivers as well as others with chronic health conditions.
