Byron E. Robison of the Great Southern insurance agency recently was re-elected to the board of directors of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents. He began his insurance career in 1973 and has served on the MAIA government relations committee since 1997.
Shelter Insurance
Todd Johnson, a Springfield agent with Shelter Insurance Companies, was honored among the company's top agents, based on overall agency operations. He received a plaque at the firm's recent conference of champions.
Ollis and Company
Jeff Baggett, group health insurance specialist, and David Endacott, AAI, commercial insurance specialist, both with Ollis and Company, recently completed the Producer Training Camp course presented by Sitkins Group Inc. in Fort Myers, Fla.
The course provides intensely focused training aimed at elevating professional standards and performance in sales and service for insurance executives.
Joe Erickson, sales manager for Ollis and Company, recently completed the Sales Manager Training Camp presented by Sitkins Group Inc. in Fort Myers, Fla. The course's intensely focused training is geared toward developing the role of "Head Coach of Sales," and developing strategies for increasing closing ratios and revenues.
MEM
Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance donated $14,325 to Kid's Chance of Missouri Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to children of parents who were seriously injured or killed in a workplace accident. MEM also donated 4,295 pounds of food to the Central Missouri Food Bank.
Dan Bobos was named premium consultation manager for MEM.
He will lead MEM's premium consultation department to secure timely, accurate and fair premium consultations for MEM policyholders. He also will serve as an internal consultant and researcher for the proper classification of workers' compensation exposures.
Love Insurance & Financial
Nick Love, CLU, LUTCF, of Love Insurance & Financial Services earned membership in the Million Dollar Roundtable's Top of the Table, which entitled him to attend the recent annual meeting in Orlando, Fla. Top of the Table status is earned by only two-tenths of 1 percent of the world's life insurance agents. Love is one of only 12 agents in Missouri to qualify for 2002.
