Eric K. Peterson was appointed to a three-year term on the advisory council of Securities America Inc. Peterson also attended the 2005 Masters Forum in Marquis Los Cabos, Mexico. The by-invitation-only forum, presented by Securities America Inc., included hands-on workshops addressing business strategy, practice development, financial analysis, capital market overview and professional development.

Wayland Mueller joined Springfield-based CPA firm Davis, Lynn & Moots PC as a staff accountant. He attended Southwest Missouri State University and the University of Arizona. As a staff accountant, Mueller performs audits, accounting and tax services.

Cozetta (Cozy) Jones was promoted to marketing officer for Commerce Bank’s Springfield region. Jones has more than 25 years of experience with Commerce, serving in the retail, human resources and marketing divisions. Prior to her promotion, she was a marketing representative. In her new position, Jones is responsible for planning, budgeting and project management related to the bank’s regional marketing, advertising and public relations initiatives for the region.

Sandra K. Branson was appointed by Gov. Matt Blunt as director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development’s Division of Credit Unions. Branson, a graduate of the Missouri Executive and Executive Marketing institutes, previously served as Division of Credit Unions director from 1987 to 1993. She also was vice president of Mizzou Credit Union and president of MFA Employees Credit Union. Branson’s appointment is subject to confirmation by the Missouri Senate.

Sharon Miller joined Bank of America as a vice president and private client manager of its private banking team. She has more than 15 years of banking and management experience. In Miller’s new position, she

provides integrated delivery of financial services, including investment management, personal trust, tax, estate planning and charitable giving, customized lending and banking options to high-net-worth customers.
