Charles Ladd joined Liberty Investment Services as a financial adviser. Ladd has more than seven years in the financial services field, most recently with Edward Jones. Ladd is a veteran of the Marine Corps and a graduate of Missouri State University. In his new position, Ladd offers securities exclusively through Raymond James Financial Services Inc.
Doug Page joined Mid-Missouri Bank as a senior vice president in Springfield. Page, a graduate of Upper Iowa University, has more than nine years of local banking experience and 20 years of experience in the financial industry. In his new position, Page has responsibilities in commercial lending and business development.
Bank of America announced two additions to its mortgage division in Springfield. Brian Chick and Kathy Smythe joined Bank of America’s home loan sales team, providing mortgage services for clients in Southwest Missouri and throughout the United States. Both Chick and Smythe began working in the financial services industry with Bank of America’s consumer and business banking units.
Two local financial services professionals were named to the 2006 Million Dollar Round Table, an international, independent association of life insurance and financial services professionals. Roger L. Hoenes, senior financial consultant with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, qualified for the seventh time. Hoenes is associated with Thrivent Financial’s Kansas/Missouri regional financial office, working in the Springfield/Branson area.
John T. Piatchek of Piatchek and Associates Inc. is in his 34th consecutive year as a Million Dollar Round Table member. Membership is based on client service, ethical conduct, professional knowledge and overall excellence.
Empire Bank announced three staff additions.
Barbra Wallace joined Empire Bank as vice president of commercial lending. Wallace is responsible for building business client relationships via financial counseling, lending and other commercial banking services. She has 15 years of experience in banking, primarily in lending and cash management.
Gus Krafve joined Empire Bank as vice president and portfolio manager of the bank’s investment management and trust division. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Missouri State University and is currently enrolled in MSU’s master of business administration program. Krafve has experience as an equity analyst, portfolio manager, and treasury and investor relations manager. In his new position, he is responsible for the management of institutional and personal trust accounts.
Deborah Bellotti joined Empire Bank’s insurance agency as an account executive. She has 18 years of experience in insurance and previously was co-owner of Adco Insurance Services. Bellotti specializes in life, health and senior products, as well as group benefits. She also is licensed in home, auto and commercial products.
Paula Dougherty, certified financial planner with Ameriprise Financial, was selected to represent the southwest Missouri district on the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship Committee. She is a member of Sunrise Rotary of Springfield. As a committee member, she will interview potential candidates and select individuals to receive awards based on strict criteria.
James R. Daniel, branch manager at U.S. Bank’s East Sunshine Street office, earned the company’s quarterly Pinnacle awards, one of U.S. Bank’s highest achievements for its retail employees. Daniel joined U.S. Bank four year’s ago, and he was recognized in 2003 as one of U.S. Bank’s top regional personal bankers.
