Brooke Liggett, a certified public accountant with KPM CPAs, presented at The Missouri Bar’s Annual Family Law Conference held Aug. 3 at Lake of the Ozarks. Liggett, who holds the Certified Financial Forensics Analyst designation in matrimonial litigation, spoke about valuations of professional service businesses and the allocation of personal and enterprise goodwill for marital litigation.
Heim, Young & Associates hired John Dittrich as a registered investment representative. He is a Certified Public Accountant who has a Master of Business Administration from Missouri State University. Dittrich has more than 20 years of experience in management experience, and three years of experience in the finance industry.
Old Missouri Bank promoted Tammy Kelley to assistant vice president and internal auditor. Kelley, who joined the bank in 2004, has a bachelor’s in business administration at MSU. In her new role, she reports to the board of directors and is responsible for internal auditing and reviewing of bank operations.
Rob Hendrickson, a financial adviser with New York Life, was one of four financial advisers to receive the 2012 Four Under Forty Award from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors’ magazine. The award is presented to advisers younger than 40 who achieve professional excellence. Profiles of Hendrickson and the other honorees will appear in the September/October issue of Advisor Today.
Holly Gray, a financial adviser with Heim, Young & Associates Inc., earned the Certified Financial Planner designation. A graduate of MSU, she has been with the firm for 10 years.
Empire Bank announced three promotions. The bank promoted Michaele Vetsch-Floyd to vice president/retail sales manager, responsible for managing sales service and operations of Empire Bank in the Springfield and Christian County regions. She has 15 years of experience in banking.
Amy Sharp also was promoted to vice president/retail sales manager, managing similar responsibilities for Empire Bank branches in Greene, Polk and Webster counties. Sharp has a bachelor’s in finance from MSU and 11 years of experience in banking.
Jay Swartz was promoted to vice president/loan officer. He is responsible for originating and maintaining consumer loans and other lending products. Swartz is a graduate of Drury University and has 18 years of banking and lending experience at Empire.
