Tomiann Brashers was appointed managing director of Drury University's Good Company Theatre for All Ages. Brashers holds a bachelor of arts degree and a master's degree in education from Drury. Evangel University's board of directors granted tenure to eight faculty members. Those individuals and their positions are: Jeff Fulks, PhD, chairman of the department of behavioral sciences; William Griffin, PhD, associate professor of biblical studies; Dale Manke, assistant professor of business; Gary Martindale, PhD, assistant professor of biblical studies; Lacey Nunnally, assistant professor of social work; Dale Scheusner, PhD, associate professor of science; Linda Wellborn, EdD, associate professor of business; and Sharon Wilkins, associate professor of music. |ret||ret||tab|
Evangel also announced the addition of four residence directors. Alex Bryant, an EU graduate, serves as a part-time residence director in Lewis Hall. Amy Gros serves as director at Spence Hall. She is a graduate of Central Bible College, and she also works in the world missions department at the Assemblies of God headquarters. Cami Cole of Lakes Country Rehabilitation Center completed the requirements for a human resources certificate from SMSU's Management Development Institute. Five SMSU students recently participated in a mock legislative debate in the Missouri House of Representatives chamber and met with Missouri Gov. Bob Holden, State Auditor Claire McCaskill and State Treasurer Nancy Farmer in conjunction with the 21st Century Academy.
